Third party accredited Fire Door Surveys & Compartmentation
We utilise Tier 3 Assessors and have Blue Sky Accreditation with a wealth of experience carrying out fire door and compartmentation surveys. A breakdown of passive fire protection in any compartmentation ‘system’ can create weaknesses which could have a detrimental impact on the performance of the fire protection provided for life safety. Weaknesses can compromise seals thereby decreasing the protection from fire, sound, smoke, air, water or movement, allowing one or all of these to penetrate the compartment. As a consequence this decreases the pre-determined level of protection required.
We have carried out extensive compartmentation surveys for; The Royal Surrey County Hospital , London Borough of Camden, West London Mental Health Trust and Barnet Homes to mention a few. These compartmentation surveys have included roof voids, sheltered housing blocks communal areas as well as individual dwellings, boiler and plant rooms, lift motor rooms, retail units, etc.
